The Paranoid Ramblings of a Pretentious Artist

Innocence

While buying a 99cent, 695mL recyclable can of Arizona GREEN TEA with GINSENG and HONEY! (environmentalists, economists, yoga masters, and old wise asian men are all jizzing their pants right now) i saw a little girl, perhaps a toddler, looking about the candy racks. Perusing this and deciding upon that she came across one particularly attractive piece of candy and smelled it to see if its good or not.

BEAUTIFUL!

how is it that, as mature, genius, wise adults we would not be caught dead performing the most basic of instincts of sniffing our food before we eat it, to make sure its good and yummy. how is it that this young girl, unwise to the biological and psychological wonders of our universe, isn’t ashamed to act upon impulse. what a shame it is that soon she will be criticized, laughed at, mocked and a many plethora of atrocities for that simple act of DOING SOMETHING in public that doesnt constitute walking, eyes forward, ignoring everyone in sight.

WHY CANT YOU ACTUALLY TALK AND JOKE WITH ANOTHER HUMAN BEING WHOM YOU’VE NEVER MET BEFORE?

whered this social stigma of solitary confinement in a socially demanding world become acceptable?

…well something to think about anyway

-sips green tea-

yes….
